February 25th, etc.

Homemade head shot for this store downtown that sells Victorian jewelry. All I took on this day. Blah blah blahhh

February 24, 2009.

As you can see, on this day we were all too excited about the bed to leave it. Pictured here are some animal friends, rompin' around.

February 23rd, 2009.

Today an awesome thing happened. The bed that my parents do not need anymore arrived at 7 in the morning. It all happened really fast, like an incredible dream. One second we were squished together on a stiff dorm bed, and the next second we were on this giant fluffy pink thing. It was amazing.
I didn't get to enjoy it too long, because I then spent 12 hours up at school workin' hard. But the sleep I got when I got home was totally awesome.

February 21st, 2009.

Went to Alyce's to play videogames with her boyfriend and my former boss. Alyce and I got intoxicated and made fruit dessert with runny whipped cream, smothered in tequila. When the boys got boring we drank delicious tea (pictured above) and told ghost stories.

Tonight we went to the Cobalt to see our friend's band play. Here is Trevor singing his little heart out. Just after this, a mic cable snapped and they were kicked out and fined and this coked-out dude was throwing a huge hissy fit while we stood around deciding where to go next. So Matt and I decided to go home.

Oh, dear.....

It seems I've fallen pretty far behind on this. Our internet has been really bad lately, and everytime I try to upload it quits halfway. Plus midterms, etc. In this photo, I had just snipped about half my bangs. We were about to go out to a show, I can't remember which. Matt and I were rolling around passing time being cute and in love or whatever. I think we were listening to The Cramps.

February 16th, 2009.

I went downtown-exploring today. Bought records! (oingo boingo, pat benatar, the teardrop explodes, peter murphy, the mission, stranglers and the bolshoi.) Ate pho, and were seated next to a hilarious redhead Christian rapper on a blind date set up through facebook. He spoke loudly, he was hilarious.
Came home and moved all the furniture around, put on sunglasses and The Cramps, and camped out in the living room. BF4LYF!

February 15th, 2009.

Went over to Brad and Tom's for homemade cheesecake from Alyce, which was very fancy indeed. We watched an Italian zombie movie and I fell asleep. Above is Matt, after I attacked with the fancy lipstick his mom got me for xmas. (it makes your lips grow! whut!?)

February 14th, 2009.

Today me and my lover woke up late and I made red velvet cupcakes with hot pink frosting. I used a whole bottle of food coloring, pretty disgusting. We spent the holiday wrapped up in blankets with the pets, eating cupcakes and listening to music. Best vday ever.

Saturday

February 13th, 2009.

Spent another day crafting, and went out to the Zombie Prom late at night. As usual, getting ready was more fun than being there. Fortunately we were rescued in the back alleys by friends with hidden bags and boxes of alcohol. Special things. Wandered the streets and found Katie, tried getting into places to no avail, and eventually back home.

February 12th, 2009.

Amy's box looks way cooler, but Amy reads this so I can't show it off. Yet. This one is for Ally, who is an age-old friend, as TCK friends go. Ally's box smells totally delicious.

February 11th, 2009.

My school is still covered in snow! Whoa.

February 10th, 2009.

I ran 15 miles today! Then put on this dress and wore it all night. Matt and I went to Bon's and got tipsy before returning home for intense amounts of arts and crafts. If you want a piece of bone jewelry, give us a call sometime.

February 9th, 2009.

Today we hung out, probably ate pho, probably went running, probably did some homework. I took a picture of one of my several valentines' packages. (Which I am finally sending today! Huzzah!) This is Colleen's. Sweet.

Monday

February 8th, 2009.

Missed the 7th, nothing happens on hangover days. On the 8th I worked on Valentine's packages for friends and family. Matt and I spent a few hours perfecting the King of the Hill theme (he on guitar, me on accordion) its starting to sound so sweet and the music video will be sweeter. I bought a glittery purple notebook for Amy and filled it with spy-code-words and drawings of us as warriors and poems I like. Lemmy wanted to help. Here he is helping. (Surprise, Amy!)

February 6th, 2009.

Today was the end of all sickly laziness that we got ourselves into this week. I went up to school at 8 AM and ran THIRTEEN MILES AAAFFAFAFFF and then came home for a nap and an epic shower. Met Matt and Justine at the meat market for lunch, then came home on a crowded, rude bus. Matt and I drank and listened to the Cramps in mourning, until 8 drunkards burst into our door at midnight. We got loud and volatile, went for walks, walked through the drive-thru, sang musics and made a terrible mess. Everyone spent the night and left around noon the following day.

February 5th, 2009.

You can tell one of us was ill in this stretch of days, because all pictures are indoors, of just us and the pets. I had a rough, rough sore throat and slept all day almost every day. Finished 3 books! Cool! When the above picture was taken, Matt and Lemmy fell asleep in a sweet way not common in pet cats and young men. They were hugging but you can't tell. The picture just looks like they're laid out. I spent the 12 hours following this picture reading and finishing both Go Ask Alice and Rodney Dangerfield's Its Not Easy Being Me. Funfact? They both end the EXACT SAME WAY. No lie. Check them out for yourself.

February 4th, 2009.

Today was Matt's mom's birthday, so this picture was taken in her honor. Matt drew in a cool birthday cake but I don't have it on my computer.

February 3rd, 2009.

Ooooh, I fell behind. Here's a picture Matt drew of me on the third. Wooooooooo.

Tuesday

February 2nd, 2009.

Spent all morning, noon, and afternoon reading and writing for class. Got everything done in the nick of time, then we went out to a tiny tiny Italian restaurant across the street that, apparently, Johnny Depp likes. I got delicious spaghetti, and we came home for hangouts and good conversations. Matt completed and compiled Black Bile 4, and I did a dance in disguise.

February 1st, 2009.

Hmmm, February 1st. I was quite ill on this day, and did my best to stay in bed and read and sleep aaaall day long. I drank tea whenever I was awake for it, and for dinner we had noodles and soup whilst watching cartoons. Stayed up late late late reading 40+ pages on Canadian government, and writing 2 essays about it. Here is Lemmy and Matt lying side by side after lot's of soup.

Sunday

January 31st, 2009.

Matt and I made our heads more colorful today. We began the evening watching Pretty Vanilla ("the gay ramones") at the Railway, met Tristen and company before nabbing hotdogs and making it to the Rio to watch the midnight showing of Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!
We somehow found Wasco and Muffin in the crowd, but somehow lost them during the intermission, before we sleepily decided to not miss the Night Bus. We walked quite a bit to get home but bought apple juice and made friends with a kitty in a storefront window, so it wasn't too bad.
